Who are those that love him?

Father, in the name of Jesus. We thank you for your Word, thank you for your Spirit in us. King of kings, as we examine your Word today, teach us, open our understanding that we may be able to hear, see, and do what is pleasing to you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

This is music to my ears. “All things work together for good” All means everything less nothing.

No matter what it is in this world. Everything works together for good?

Why then is your life not showing this? Is it not spoken by God? Is it not written or is it not true?

One thing is very clear, when God speaks everything hears. Be it stone, wind, ocean, hills and valley. it can be animals, plant or humans. Be it Angels, Saints or devil. Everything hears.

Jesus demonstrated the character of God when he spoke to wind, spoke to trees, spoke to corpse, spoke to deaf hears, spoke to bread, fish and they all heard him! So, when God speaks, everything hears Him.

So, concerning the Word of God, everything has no choice but obey when the Words are out.

Just like everything was for the good of the first Adam until he was derailed.

the later part of the Word says: to those that love Him and are called according to His purpose.

The first question is: Do you love Him? I know your answer will be YES. Everybody loves Him. You should remember the episode between Peter “the rock” and Master Jesus. Peter was almost swearing of his love but in the end… May the Lord have mercy!

John 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

What is His commandment?

John 13:34-35 34, John 15:12, John 15:17 A new commandment I give you: Love one another As I have loved you, so also you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”

This sounds very simple but it is very hard without the help of the Holy Spirit. If Jesus had said “Love one another only” That will be very easy to achieve. “….but As I have loved you”. Nobody can love anybody like Jesus loved us without the help of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus knew what Judas would do but He did not sack him. He knew what Peter “the Rock” would do three times behind His back but still kept him. He saw the unbelief of Thomas but still did not send him away. What type of love is this that you will pray for your enemy!

But it is possible with the help of the Helper Himself “The Holy Spirit”.

When your obedience is fulfilled…Then everything begins to work together for your good.

John 21:15 …Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said …

1 Corinthians 2:9Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus fill your heart today and forever. Amen.
